It's Getting Closer to Reality

The cover with typography. The book designer is currently finishing the back of the book and getting the files ready so I can begin to upload to Amazon and Ingram/Spark. This was after several pass throughs to check format and punctuation errors. I also discovered that two poems had the same title, a poem went missing (that will be another post), and two poems essentially said the same thing, so they were thrown out and a new one was written.

One of my writing mentors suggested that I use a rule to go line by line through the manuscript. It was beneficial in finding pesky hiding errors. It’s my great fear that, I will print and an error will appear. I took solace when reading Kin by Tayari Jones and found a quotation error. Even the big publishing companies make them.

My book release is April 25, 2026 at the local tea house I frequent. I love the welcoming atmosphere of the place. The owner has been so encouraging.
